The Bengal Cat was developed in 1960s America in an attempt to produce stunning, wild-looking cats with fantastic temperaments. First bred by Jean Mill of California, the breed was officially recognised in 1984 and has since grown to become one of the most popular and cherished breeds by cat lovers all over the world.

The Bengal is a medium to large domestic cat; with males typically weighing between 14-20lbs and females between 10-12lbs. Their sturdy, athletic frame creates an impressive appearance, further emphasised by their magnificent and varied colourings and markings. Their glorious pelt is soft and silky to the touch, with a sparkled sheen known as "glitter" adding that special element and making Bengals a truly outstanding breed.

The Asian Leopard Cat is a small wildcat native to the jungles of Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. An avid tree climber, the Asian Leopard Cat is nocturnal, generally solitary and a strong swimmer. Their diet consists of a variety of small prey; including birds, lizards and hares. Asian Leopard Cats pair off for life, and raise their cubs together over a period of 7-10 months. The Asian Leopard Cat has passed on its' striking appearance to the domestic Bengal Cat, and has created a truly unique breed.
